We use Matrix, self-hosted, on our own infrastructure. We use Notion, self-hosted. We use GitLab, self-hosted. The reason isn't paranoia — it's consistency. We tell our clients that we don't let data leave sovereign boundaries. We should live that way ourselves.
Internal Sovereignty
If we use Slack, our internal research threads, architectural debates, and strategic plans are stored on someone else's servers. For a company building sovereign intelligence, that's a contradiction.
By self-hosting our own stack, we understand the challenges our clients face. We deal with the same backups, the same encryption hurdles, and the same maintenance overhead. It's a powerful way to stay grounded in our own mission.
